Larridin raises $30m to measure AI

An employee using an AI tool does not, by itself, tell a company whether the investment is paying off. Larridin is building software to connect usage and spending with the work that follows.

What happened

Larridin raised a $30m Series A led by Pelion Ventures, with existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and Gradient Ventures participating alongside new backers. The round brings total funding to $47m.

Its platform combines information about AI adoption, costs, workflows and output to help enterprises assess where tools are useful and where to invest next. The financing will support product development and team expansion.

Why it matters

Enterprise AI budgets are easier to evaluate when spending can be related to useful results. Counting logins or generated outputs alone can miss differences in quality, review requirements and the cost of completing a task.

Measurement software can help organisations compare those factors, provided its data reflects how the work actually happens and captures the outcomes that matter.

The bigger picture

As AI moves into ordinary operating budgets, customers need a clearer basis for deciding which deployments to expand. That creates an opportunity for tools focused on evaluation and management around the applications themselves.

Larridin’s customer findings should be understood as company measurements rather than universal productivity results. Its longer-term value will depend on whether clients can use the platform to make better decisions about specific teams, workflows and investments.
