Kuro Raises €10M for Construction AI
Kuro is building AI software for general contractors, targeting one of the least digitised parts of the built environment.

Construction remains one of the biggest markets where software adoption is still uneven, fragmented and operationally messy.
What happened
Berlin-based Kuro Technology raised €10 million to build AI software for general contractors. The round was led by UVC Partners, with participation from Foundamental, Realyze Ventures and helloworld.
Kuro is focused on using AI to support the workflows that sit behind construction projects, including estimating, procurement, documentation and operational coordination.
Why it matters
General contractors manage complex, low-margin projects with many suppliers, documents and changing site conditions. Small mistakes in estimates, purchase orders or compliance workflows can cascade into delays and cost overruns.
That makes construction a strong target for vertical AI. The value is not just in answering questions, but in understanding project context, documents, suppliers and workflows well enough to reduce administrative drag.
The bigger picture
AI adoption in construction will likely happen through specialised workflow tools rather than generic assistants. Kuro’s raise fits the broader trend of startups applying AI to industries where operational complexity, not software elegance, is the main problem.
