Kazimi Raises €2.2M for Mobile Data Security

Kazimi is working on the trust layer underneath mobile apps: proving which signals come from real users and which may be bots or manipulated data.

What happened

Berlin-based Kazimi raised a €2.2M oversubscribed pre-seed round led by Market One Capital, with participation from IBB Ventures and several mobile-industry executives.

The company helps app developers verify first-party data and distinguish real users from bots using privacy-preserving security technology. Its focus is app-level data quality, identity signals and protection against fake or manipulated activity.

Why it matters

Mobile companies increasingly depend on first-party data for personalisation, advertising, fraud detection and product analytics. But those signals become less valuable if bots, fake users or manipulated traffic distort them.

This matters even more as AI-driven apps rely on behavioural data to personalise experiences. Bad data does not just hurt analytics; it can lead to worse recommendations, higher fraud and weaker monetisation.

The bigger picture

Cybersecurity is moving closer to product infrastructure. Kazimi’s round is small, but the category is relevant: as privacy rules reduce third-party tracking and AI raises the value of behavioural data, first-party trust and verification tools become more important for app developers.
