Jinjing Raises RMB300M for Chipmaking Equipment
Jinjing Technology has raised RMB300 million to expand electron-beam lithography and microscopy equipment for semiconductor and scientific applications.

Advanced semiconductor manufacturing depends on specialised tools as much as it depends on chip design. Jinjing Technology has raised RMB300 million to expand domestic equipment in that stack.
What happened
The Series B was led by Kangyu Capital and Fujiang Capital, with Transfar Group and CITIC Goldstone among the investors.
Jinjing develops electron-beam lithography systems and electron microscopes used in semiconductor research, quantum technology and micro- and nanofabrication.
The funding will support production capacity, sales infrastructure and new products.
Why it matters
Electron-beam systems are critical for advanced research, prototyping and inspection.
For China, domestic capability in these tools is strategically important because semiconductor supply restrictions extend beyond chips themselves into manufacturing and scientific equipment.
The bigger picture
Semiconductor sovereignty is creating investment opportunities across the entire toolchain.
Companies that once served niche research markets can become strategically important if they replace imported equipment. Jinjing's round reflects that broader effort to localise advanced manufacturing capability.
