Jenz raises €540K for AI-powered retail operations
Antler and Ada Ventures back Jenz's €540,000 pre-seed round, alongside a separate Innovation Norway grant.

What happened
Norwegian startup Jenz raised €540,000 in pre-seed funding from Antler and Ada Ventures. It also received a separate NOK1 million grant, reported as approximately €92,000, from Innovation Norway. Its AI platform connects retail systems so an agent can work with sales, inventory and other operational information.
Why it matters
Retail data is spread across online stores, point-of-sale software, accounting and marketing tools. Connecting those systems gives an agent more context for tasks such as analysing stock or flagging an issue. Jenz is targeting that practical integration problem as well as the tasks performed on top of the data.
The bigger picture
The company has begun working with pilot customers and plans to expand beyond the Nordic region. Reported time savings remain company-reported pilot evidence, rather than independently established results. The next milestone is demonstrating dependable value across more retailers. The grant and equity funding should stay separate when describing the financing: they are different forms of capital.
