Jack & Jill Raises $40M for Agentic Job Search
Jack & Jill raises $40M to replace conventional job boards with AI agents that search and match roles for candidates.

Jack & Jill has raised $40 million in a Series A as it bets AI agents can replace much of the traditional job-search experience.
What happened
The London-based startup uses AI agents to help candidates discover, evaluate and pursue jobs instead of relying mainly on listings and manual search filters. The round was led by Air Street Capital.
The product is part of a broader wave of recruiting tools using AI on both sides of the labour market, from candidate discovery to employer sourcing and screening.
Why it matters
Job boards have remained structurally similar for decades: users search, filter and apply. Agentic interfaces could invert that workflow by continuously searching on behalf of candidates and surfacing opportunities based on preferences, experience and context.
That could materially change how platforms capture attention and how employers access candidate pools.
The bigger picture
Recruiting is becoming one of the clearest two-sided markets for AI agents. Employers are automating sourcing while candidates are beginning to automate discovery and application. If both sides delegate more of the process to software, the traditional job-board model could face significant pressure.
