IVEX Raises €5M for Automotive Safety AI
IVEX has raised €5M to expand AI-powered safety validation for advanced driver-assistance and autonomous-vehicle systems.

IVEX has raised a €5M Series A to accelerate its AI-powered automotive safety-testing platform.
What happened
The KU Leuven spinout is backed by The Faktory, Dedicated.lu and private investors. Its platform analyses large volumes of camera, sensor and vehicle data generated during ADAS and autonomous-driving testing, helping engineering teams identify and evaluate safety-critical scenarios.
Why it matters
Autonomous driving requires more than better perception models. Automakers must also prove that systems behave safely across enormous numbers of edge cases. Validation is therefore becoming its own software infrastructure layer, with growing regulatory and engineering importance.
The bigger picture
As autonomous systems become more capable, verification may become one of the industry's largest hidden bottlenecks. Companies that can automate safety analysis and reduce engineering review time could benefit even if fully autonomous consumer vehicles take longer than expected to reach mass adoption.
