Isometric Extends Series A to $50M
Carbon-market infrastructure startup Isometric has expanded its Series A to $50 million as it moves beyond carbon removal into wider industrial decarbonisation.

Carbon markets have no shortage of projects claiming emissions reductions. The harder problem is proving those claims are real. Isometric has expanded its Series A to $50 million as it builds verification infrastructure for that trust layer.
What happened
The London-based company added roughly $10 million to the $40 million round announced earlier this year. New investors include Intercontinental Exchange, Acario Innovation and Dubai Future District Fund.
Isometric provides carbon-credit certification and data infrastructure designed to make climate claims more transparent and auditable. It is now expanding beyond carbon removal into broader industrial decarbonisation.
Why it matters
Weak verification has been one of the biggest obstacles to scaling voluntary carbon markets. Buyers need confidence that a credit represents a measurable and durable climate outcome rather than a marketing claim.
Independent data, scientific methodologies and transparent monitoring can make those assets easier for companies and financial institutions to trust.
The bigger picture
Climate markets are becoming more financialised, which means the infrastructure around measurement and certification may become as important as individual projects.
Isometric's investor mix, including a major exchange operator, hints at that direction. If environmental outcomes become tradeable at larger scale, the companies defining data standards and verification processes could become core market infrastructure.
