IPercept Raises $16.5M for Factory AI
IPercept has raised a $16.5 million Series A to expand sensor and AI software that monitors the condition of industrial machinery.

IPercept has raised a Series A to make existing industrial machinery more legible to software without requiring factories to replace their equipment.
What happened
The Swedish startup raised $16.5 million in Series A funding, co-led by Isogon Ventures and 2150.
IPercept combines sensors and software to monitor the mechanical condition of CNC machines and identify wear, faults and degradation.
Customers include Airbus, Bosch and Volvo.
The new capital will support US expansion and additional intelligence applications built on top of the company's machine-data platform.
Why it matters
Factories contain huge amounts of valuable operational data, but much of it is difficult to access.
Machines may be decades old and were never designed to expose real-time information to modern software systems.
Adding sensing and analytics around existing equipment can create a data layer without requiring manufacturers to replace expensive machinery.
The bigger picture
Physical AI depends on understanding the state of the real world.
That makes sensors, telemetry and industrial data infrastructure strategically important.
IPercept is effectively creating a bridge between legacy machines and modern AI systems.
As manufacturers adopt more predictive maintenance and autonomous operations, the companies that can reliably capture machine behaviour may become essential infrastructure beneath higher-level industrial agents and robotics platforms.
