Inspiren raises $70M for physical AI in senior care
Inspiren raised a $70M Series C to scale its sensor-and-AI platform across senior-living facilities, where staffing pressure creates a clear automation need.

Physical AI is finding an increasingly practical market inside senior care, where staff shortages and safety monitoring are persistent operational problems.
What happened
Inspiren raised a $70M Series C led by NewView Capital, bringing total funding to $225M and valuing the company above $500M. Its hardware-and-AI platform monitors activity, falls and care utilisation inside senior-living facilities.
Why it matters
Unlike consumer wellness devices, Inspiren is embedded directly into care operations. That gives the company access to workflows where faster intervention and better staffing decisions can have both clinical and financial value.
The bigger picture
Physical AI does not necessarily mean humanoid robots. Sensors, proprietary hardware and machine-learning systems that understand real-world environments are becoming an important category in healthcare, logistics and other labour-intensive industries.
