IMMIX Raises $3.5M for Stablecoin FX
IMMIX has raised $3.5M to build foreign-exchange infrastructure for stablecoin payments beyond the US dollar.

Stablecoins can move money quickly, but international payments still run into the old problem of foreign exchange.
What happened
London-based IMMIX raised $3.5 million to expand FX infrastructure for companies moving between currency-denominated stablecoins.
The platform focuses particularly on markets outside the highly liquid US-dollar ecosystem and says its systems have processed more than $25 billion of customer trading volume since 2024.
Why it matters
A payment may settle on blockchain rails, but businesses still need to convert between currencies and manage liquidity.
That creates room for infrastructure providers that make stablecoins work across local markets rather than assuming every transaction begins and ends in dollars.
The bigger picture
Stablecoin infrastructure is becoming increasingly specialised.
The first wave focused on issuance and wallets. The next layer includes treasury management, compliance, local payouts and FX.
IMMIX is targeting one of those less visible components. If stablecoins become mainstream cross-border payment rails, efficient currency conversion will be essential to making them useful outside dollar-dominated flows.
