HubX Raises $75M for Consumer App Acquisitions
Türkiye-based HubX announced up to $75M from Point72 to fund consumer-app acquisitions and expansion.

Not every consumer-app winner follows the usual venture-backed growth path.
What happened
Türkiye-based HubX announced its first external investment: up to $75M from Point72 Private Investments.
The investment includes an initial $50M and an option for another $25M, at a $1.2B pre-money valuation. HubX has built a portfolio of consumer apps and plans to use the capital partly for acquisitions.
Why it matters
This is a consumer-app rollup signal. HubX is notable because it grew profitably before taking outside capital, rather than relying on continuous venture funding from the start.
The acquisition angle also matters. Consumer software markets are crowded, but profitable operators can still compound by buying and improving apps with existing users.
The bigger picture
Consumer tech is no longer only about single breakout apps. Some companies are building portfolios, operating systems and acquisition machines around user attention, subscriptions and app-store distribution.
HubX shows a different route to scale: profitable bootstrapping first, institutional capital later, and M&A as a growth engine.
