Chinese multimodal-model developer HiDream is reportedly raising at a pace that would place it among the country’s best-funded generative-media startups, but the latest financing remains unconfirmed by the company.

HiDream reportedly completed a RMB1.5B Series C, approximately $210M, led by a group of state-linked and financial investors.
The report says the company has completed three rounds within roughly three months, bringing cumulative financing above RMB2.1B.
HiDream develops foundation models spanning image generation, video and editing. It has released open models built around a unified architecture intended to handle several visual-generation tasks rather than relying on separate systems.
No corresponding company financing announcement was available when the story surfaced, so the amount, investor group and round status should be treated as reported rather than confirmed.
