Hello Robotaxi Raises $100M for Autonomous Driving AI
Hello Robotaxi has raised about $100 million to expand autonomous-driving compute and model development.

Robotaxi competition is increasingly a compute race as well as a fleet race. Hello Robotaxi has raised about $100 million to expand its autonomous-driving infrastructure.
What happened
The financing was led by Shanghai SSCI Leading Private Equity Fund Management, with Minhang Financial Investment and China Creation Ventures participating.
The company plans to build a 10,000-GPU computing cluster, improve its end-to-end driving models and expand the data infrastructure behind its autonomous system.
Why it matters
Autonomous-driving companies need huge amounts of driving data and compute to train models for rare and complex road situations.
Building dedicated GPU capacity can shorten training cycles and reduce dependence on external compute providers.
The bigger picture
China's robotaxi market is becoming increasingly capital intensive.
The companies that survive will likely need both strong fleet economics and the ability to continuously improve models at scale. Hello's financing shows investors are still willing to fund that infrastructure race as commercial deployments expand.
