Gridsight Raises $26M for AI Grid Capacity
Gridsight raised $26M to expand AI-powered capacity management software for utilities facing rising demand.

AI load growth is turning grid planning into a software and data problem.
What happened
Gridsight raised a $26M Series B led by Insight Partners, with participation from Galvanize, Airtree, Energy Transition Ventures and others.
The company builds AI-powered capacity management software for utilities. Its platform helps grid operators manage rising demand from data centres, electric vehicles and distributed energy resources.
Why it matters
Electricity networks are under pressure from several directions at once: AI infrastructure, transport electrification, rooftop solar, storage and industrial demand.
Utilities need better visibility into where capacity exists, where constraints are emerging and how new loads will affect the system. Gridsight is targeting that planning and operational layer.
The bigger picture
Climate tech is increasingly converging with AI infrastructure. The data-centre boom cannot scale without grid upgrades, and the grid itself will need more software to absorb new demand without breaking reliability or affordability.
