Granter raises €1.6m to help businesses navigate public funding

Finding a grant is one task. Getting through the application is another.

What happened

Portuguese startup Granter has raised €1.6 million, bringing its total funding to €2 million. The round was led by 3XP Global through its Impact Innovation Fund, with participation from Celtis Venture Partners, Gateway Ventures and Deel.

Its AI platform helps businesses find public funding opportunities, prepare applications and manage funded projects. The capital will support product development, hiring and expansion beyond Portugal.

Why it matters

Smaller companies may struggle to dedicate staff to complex funding applications. Software that helps organise that process could reduce administrative effort and make more opportunities practical to pursue.

The bigger picture

The useful measure is the quality of applications and the work saved, not simply how much funding is available. Company claims about completing tasks in under an hour are not an independently verified promise, and preparing an application does not guarantee an award.
