Healthcare staff lose time to work that sits between appointments, records and payment systems.
What happened
Granit raised $6m in its first funding round, led by Seedcamp. The company develops AI agents for administrative tasks including invoicing, follow-ups, claim rejections and coverage checks within existing healthcare software.
The funding will support new healthcare verticals, technical and commercial hiring, and expansion into additional European markets.
Why it matters
Administrative automation has a clear job to do: reduce the manual steps required to get information checked and bills processed. Working inside systems staff already use could help avoid adding another disconnected tool.
The bigger picture
Healthcare administration varies across providers, insurers and countries. Granit’s expansion will depend on handling those differences accurately and demonstrating that the tools save staff time. This funding announcement does not establish clinical benefits.
