Google extends Gemini Omni Flash video generation to 15 seconds
Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash adds longer clips and lowers the stated price of 720p generation.

Longer clips and cheaper revisions can change the economics of making many small videos.
What happened
Google released Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash on 5 November, making it generally available through the Gemini API and Gemini for business. It supports video creation and editing up to 15 seconds and a stated price of $0.07 per second for 720p generation, 30% below the previous version.
Why it matters
Google also says the model follows image, video and audio references more closely. For a business generating product clips or advertisements, keeping the same object or character consistent can be as important as generating an attractive first frame.
The bigger picture
The quality claims are Google's, rather than an independent benchmark result. Production cost also includes rejected drafts, revisions and review. A lower generation price is useful, but the relevant measure is the cost of getting a clip that is good enough to use.
