General Intuition Eyes $6B Robotics Valuation
General Intuition is reportedly in funding talks at a $6B valuation as it builds foundation models for embodied AI.

Physical AI is becoming one of the clearest places where investors want the next foundation-model platform to appear.
What happened
General Intuition is reportedly in talks to raise funding at a $6B pre-money valuation.
The New York startup is building foundation models for AI agents that move through space and time. Its approach uses action data from gameplay to train models that may generalise across embodied tasks.
Why it matters
This is a strong physical-AI signal, even though the financing is still a reported process rather than a closed round.
The interesting idea is that robotics progress may depend not only on better hardware, but on better training data for action, navigation and decision-making. Games and simulated environments can generate huge amounts of behavioural data that may help models learn how to act in the physical world.
The bigger picture
Robotics investing is splitting into hardware companies and “robot brain” companies.
General Intuition sits in the second camp. If embodied foundation models become reusable across robots, vehicles or spatial agents, the software layer could become as valuable as the machines themselves.
