FRANK Raises €2.9M for Insurance Broker AI
FRANK is automating insurance-broker workflows across email, WhatsApp, insurer portals and documents.

FRANK’s round is a small but useful example of vertical AI aimed at repetitive, fragmented professional workflows.
What happened
Portuguese insurtech FRANK raised €2.9 million in a round led by Armilar and Start Ventures. Its AI Operator automates broker workflows across email, WhatsApp, insurer portals and documents.
The company says its software is already used by more than 350 agencies and brokerages in Portugal.
Why it matters
Insurance brokers often work across disconnected systems, long email threads, portals, forms and documents. That makes the sector a strong target for AI tools that can execute workflow steps rather than only generate text.
FRANK’s product is focused on reducing paperwork and helping brokers process requests faster across the channels they already use.
The bigger picture
The most practical AI agents may emerge first in specific industries with repetitive admin and fragmented software. Insurance brokerage is one of those markets. FRANK’s raise shows how smaller vertical AI companies can target overlooked but commercially meaningful workflows.
