Flatkey Raises $10M for Unified AI Infrastructure
Flatkey has raised $10M after attracting more than 10,000 developers with a single access layer for AI models and tools.

Flatkey is betting that developers need a simpler way to work across the rapidly expanding universe of AI models and tools.
What happened
Flatkey and Realset AI raised a $10M Series A. Flatkey says more than 10,000 developers adopted its platform within two months of launch.
The product provides one API key and account balance for access to more than 100 AI models and over 1,000 tools, reducing the need to manage separate accounts, credentials and billing relationships.
Why it matters
AI development is becoming increasingly fragmented. Teams may use different providers for language, image, audio, reasoning and specialised models, each with separate APIs and pricing systems.
An aggregation layer can reduce operational overhead and make it easier to switch between models as performance and costs change.
The bigger picture
Model providers are competing at the intelligence layer, but a parallel infrastructure market is emerging around routing, observability, billing and interoperability. As models become more interchangeable for some workloads, the developer platforms that simplify access to them could capture an important part of the stack.
