Czech startup FLÆ Robotics has raised more than €1 million to expand an AI agent that handles hotel guest communications and booking workflows.
What happened
The seed funding came from Purple Ventures and Garage Angels. FLÆ's BE-A software agent works across channels including email, WhatsApp, web chat and phone and can connect with hotel-management systems to answer questions, check availability and process bookings. The company says the product is active in more than 60 hotels across the UK, Germany and the Czech Republic and handled hundreds of thousands of interactions during July and August. Those adoption figures are company-reported. Priority publications carried the funding announcement on 14 October, although some third-party databases record the underlying round earlier.
Why it matters
Hotels operate around the clock and receive large volumes of repetitive guest requests, making them a natural target for vertical AI agents. Integrating directly with hotel systems allows software to do more than answer questions and potentially complete real transactions.
The bigger picture
Vertical agents can be attractive when they are tightly integrated with industry software and workflows. FLÆ's challenge is maintaining accuracy, handling edge cases and showing that automation improves guest service without creating operational mistakes.
