Finpilot raises $10m for institutional-investment AI agents
Before an investment decision comes a lot of document work.

Before an investment decision comes a lot of document work.
What happened
Finpilot announced a $10 million Series A led by Lobby Capital, with participation from Madrona.
Its software brings institutional investment documents and data together, with AI agents supporting research, reporting, monitoring and diligence. The company will use the funding to expand its product and team. Named customers and functionality are company disclosures.
Why it matters
Investment teams have to extract figures, reconcile reports and track changes before they can assess a portfolio or manager. Software that helps with those tasks targets a recurring workload rather than claiming to select investments autonomously.
The bigger picture
The useful measures are traceability, accuracy and the effort saved in a real investment process. Keeping a number connected to its original document matters as much as producing a quick summary. The round supports expansion, while sustained adoption will depend on that operational usefulness.
