Enigmata Raises $6.5M for Encrypted AI
Enigmata has emerged from stealth with $6.5M to let AI systems work with encrypted enterprise data.

Enigmata has emerged from stealth with a $6.5M seed round as enterprises look for ways to use AI without exposing sensitive data.
What happened
The round was led by Blockchange Ventures. Enigmata's Cipher product is designed to let AI systems search, analyse and train on encrypted information while keeping the underlying data protected.
Why it matters
Data access remains one of the biggest constraints on enterprise AI adoption. Companies may want to use models across financial, healthcare, legal or proprietary datasets but cannot simply move sensitive information into open model environments. Privacy-preserving infrastructure could make those use cases easier to deploy without weakening security controls.
The bigger picture
As AI becomes embedded in core business systems, encryption and model infrastructure are starting to converge. The next generation of enterprise AI tools may compete not only on model quality, but on how safely they can operate across restricted datasets and regulated environments.
