Enigmata raises $6.5M to let AI use encrypted data
Enigmata emerged from stealth with $6.5M to let AI search, analyse and learn from sensitive information while the underlying data stays encrypted.

Enterprise AI has a basic contradiction: the most valuable datasets are often the ones companies are least willing to expose.
What happened
Enigmata emerged from stealth with a $6.5M seed round led by Blockchange Ventures. Its Cipher technology is designed to let AI systems train, search and analyse sensitive information while that information remains encrypted.
Why it matters
Healthcare records, financial data and proprietary corporate information can be enormously valuable to AI systems, but moving that data into conventional model pipelines creates privacy and security risks. Technologies that preserve confidentiality during computation could expand the range of datasets enterprises are willing to use.
The bigger picture
Privacy-enhancing computation is becoming part of the AI infrastructure stack. As adoption moves into regulated industries, the ability to use information without exposing it may become as important as model performance itself.
