Endo Tools raises €20M to scale less-invasive gastrointestinal procedures
Endo Tools Therapeutics has raised €20 million to commercialise its endoscopic suturing platform and expand clinical evidence.

Belgium-based Endo Tools Therapeutics has raised an oversubscribed €20 million Series C led by Capricorn Partners through Capricorn Healthtech Fund II. MGFO and existing investors also participated.
What happened
The company will use the funding to commercialise its endomina platform in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Its recently cleared EZFuse device enables doctors to perform certain internal suturing procedures through a natural opening rather than conventional surgery. Endo Tools also plans to gather clinical evidence for a possible US weight-loss indication.
Why it matters
Less-invasive procedures can reduce recovery time, complications and hospital resource requirements. Endoscopic suturing may allow physicians to treat some gastrointestinal conditions without open or laparoscopic surgery.
The bigger picture
Regulatory clearance supports commercial use of the device, but it does not yet establish approval for every proposed application, including the intended weight-loss indication. The company must now demonstrate consistent clinical outcomes, train physicians and build reimbursement and distribution channels. The round reflects continued investor interest in medical technologies that can reduce the burden of surgery while fitting into existing clinical workflows.
