Ema Raises $77M for Enterprise AI Agents
Ema has raised $77M to scale AI agents that execute multi-step enterprise workflows across functions such as HR, finance and IT.

Ema has raised a new round to expand its model of AI “employees” that execute enterprise workflows rather than only answer questions.
What happened
The company raised a $77M Series B, taking total funding to $140M. Ema coordinates multiple AI agents to complete multi-step processes across functions including HR, finance and IT.
Its approach is designed around outcome-oriented automation rather than individual software seats, with agents interacting across existing tools and systems.
Why it matters
Enterprise AI is beginning to challenge both software and services spending. If agents can complete entire workflows, buyers may evaluate them against outsourced labour or internal operations teams rather than against another SaaS product.
That also changes pricing. Outcome-based models can become more attractive when customers care about completed work instead of user licences.
The bigger picture
The agentic-software market is moving from copilots toward process execution. The biggest opportunities may sit in repetitive but cross-functional workflows where software can coordinate information and actions across multiple systems.
