Easol Raises $30M for AI Experience Commerce
Easol announces $20 million in equity alongside a $10 million debt facility to expand commerce software and AI tools for experience businesses.

Festivals, retreats and other experience businesses often run on a tangle of booking, payment and customer-management systems. Easol is building a platform intended to connect those processes.
What happened
Easol announced $30 million in additional financing made up of $20 million in equity and a $10 million debt facility from Viola Credit. Equity participants included existing venture investors such as Y Combinator, Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, Notion Capital and Eight Roads.
The company provides tools for selling tickets and experiences, managing bookings, communicating with guests and handling commerce operations. It also introduced an AI product called Teammates to automate repetitive work and support customers.
Easol reports handling bookings for millions of guests across international markets. These are company-reported business activity figures; they should not be confused with the company's own revenue or profitability. The round is not $30 million of equity alone.
Why it matters
Experience operators depend on timely customer communication and integrated payments but frequently use disconnected tools. Combining software and agents could reduce manual work and help organisers convert more enquiries into bookings.
The opportunity is significant, but the sector is seasonal and economically sensitive. Easol must demonstrate sustained customer retention and benefits that exceed implementation costs.
The bigger picture
Vertical commerce software is expanding from record keeping toward automated operations. Easol's mix of equity and debt financing also illustrates how scaling platforms may use different sources of capital to support growth.
