Dreamscale launches cloud inference deployments for robots
Dreamscale added a pre-alpha deployment system for serving fine-tuned robot policies through regional cloud GPUs.

Dreamscale has introduced a deployment workflow for running fine-tuned robot policies through cloud infrastructure.
What happened
Developers can package supported fine-tunes stored on Hugging Face, configure them for a compatible robot and deploy them to a selected region. The service loads a serverless GPU when a robot connects and runs the policy through Dreamscale's software development kit.
The SDK is explicitly pre-alpha. Installing it does not guarantee access to a model or that a deployment is ready for production use.
Why it matters
Modern robot policies can exceed the computing capacity available on a robot. Cloud inference gives developers another way to run larger models without installing expensive hardware in every machine.
The bigger picture
Robotics infrastructure is beginning to adopt patterns already common in software, including hosted inference and usage-based compute. The unresolved challenge is delivering reliable, low-latency control when network conditions and physical safety both matter.
