Doxx.net Raises $38M for Agentic Networking
Doxx.net’s Series A brings the agentic AI discussion into networking, privacy and communications infrastructure.

Doxx.net’s new funding round points to a less obvious part of the agentic AI stack: networking.
What happened
Doxx.net raised a $38 million Series A as it launched its private “agentic defined networking” platform into open beta. The startup is building encrypted networking infrastructure designed to let people and AI agents operate private communications and services under user-defined policies.
The idea is that autonomous systems will need to move data, call services and communicate securely without relying entirely on conventional internet infrastructure.
Why it matters
Most agentic AI discussion focuses on models, applications and workflow automation. But agents also create a networking problem. If software can act independently across tools and systems, companies need stronger controls over identity, access, routing, encryption and policy enforcement.
That is especially important when agents handle sensitive business data or operate across external APIs. Secure networking could become part of the trust layer that makes agentic systems enterprise-ready.
The bigger picture
The AI infrastructure market is widening beyond GPUs and model tooling. As agents become more capable, the supporting stack will need private communications, observability, permissioning and security architecture designed for autonomous software.
Doxx.net is effectively betting that the agent era will require a new networking layer, not just new apps running on the old internet.
