Cursor adds a route from a prompt to a live app
Cursor can build, provision and deploy apps, with explicit publishing and security checks.

Writing an app is only one part of making it usable.
What happened
Cursor's 5 November release lets users describe an app to a cloud agent, which can build it, provision hosting, configure authentication and add a Postgres database where needed. Users can then publish and share a link. The feature is available on paid plans with cloud agents enabled.
Why it matters
This brings several deployment steps into the coding workflow. It could make internal tools easier to put in front of the people who need them, without treating the code-generation step as the finish line.
The bigger picture
Cursor says publishing requires security checks and an explicit user action, with administrative controls for team apps. Those checks are useful controls, rather than a guarantee that an app is secure or correct. The lasting test is how well these generated tools can be maintained after their first deployment.
