Coherence Quantum raises €2.78M for cryogenic infrastructure
Coherence Quantum has raised €2.78 million to develop cryogenic signalling and control infrastructure for larger quantum computers.

What happened
Coherence Quantum has raised €2.78 million in seed funding led by Lifeline Ventures, with participation from Mårten Mickos.
The Finnish startup is developing integrated cryogenic signalling and control infrastructure for solid-state quantum processors.
Why it matters
Adding more qubits also increases the number of control and readout connections inside an environment with severe space, cooling and noise constraints. The infrastructure around the processor therefore becomes a scaling bottleneck of its own.
The bigger picture
Quantum investment is broadening beyond processors into the supporting hardware required to build larger and more reliable systems.
