Claimlane raises €5.6m to automate aftersales work
What happens after a product breaks can determine whether a customer buys from the same brand again.

What happens after a product breaks can determine whether a customer buys from the same brand again.
What happened
Claimlane announced a €5.6m Series A, backed by Verb Ventures, Skagerak Capital and Vendep Capital. The company will develop AI agents for aftersales workflows and expand its US business.
Its platform helps brands and retailers handle warranty claims, repairs and replacements using their product information and policies.
Why it matters
Aftersales work often crosses customer service, suppliers and warranty rules. Automating the repeated steps could reduce manual handling while leaving complicated or disputed cases for people to resolve.
The bigger picture
A claims agent has to apply the right policy, preserve an audit trail and avoid making promises the business cannot honour. Success depends on better resolution of real customer cases, alongside any reduction in support costs.
