Circularity Fuels raises $7m to scale jet fuel made from dairy biogas
Circularity is working on turning a farm waste stream into a liquid fuel supply.

Circularity is working on turning a farm waste stream into a liquid fuel supply.
What happened
Circularity Fuels closed a $7m seed round, led by Trucks and DCVC, with participation from Sum Ventures and Automotive Ventures.
The money supports a demonstration plant producing jet fuel from dairy biogas, engineering work for a planned commercial facility and efforts to secure airline purchase agreements. The financing does not mean the commercial plant is already operating.
Why it matters
Biogas provides a potential feedstock that does not require growing a dedicated fuel crop. Converting it near the source could create a new use for material otherwise difficult to handle economically.
The bigger picture
The next stage is an industrial test: reliable production, consistent fuel quality and a cost customers can accept. Demonstration output and purchase contracts will provide more evidence than projections about future plants.
