Chift Raises €10.5M for Financial Connectivity
Chift raises €10.5M to build a unified API layer connecting fragmented European financial software.

Chift has raised €10.5 million in a Series A to expand its financial connectivity platform across Europe.
What happened
The Brussels-based startup provides a unified API that connects software products with more than 120 accounting, invoicing, payments, ecommerce and other financial systems. The round was led by BlackFin Capital Partners.
Instead of each software company maintaining dozens of separate integrations, Chift offers a single connectivity layer through which those systems can exchange structured data.
Why it matters
European financial software is fragmented by country, provider and legacy infrastructure. That is expensive for SaaS companies today and becomes even more limiting as AI agents begin interacting directly with accounting and payment systems.
Reliable APIs are a prerequisite for autonomous financial workflows because agents need permissioned access to accurate underlying data.
The bigger picture
The rise of AI agents may increase the value of integration infrastructure rather than reduce it. Models can reason over information, but they still need stable ways to read and write into enterprise systems. Chift is positioning itself as part of that plumbing for Europe's financial software ecosystem.
