Casap Raises $56M for Banking AI Agents
Casap raises a $56 million Series B to automate financial-services disputes, fraud investigations and other customer operations.

Payment disputes and fraud claims require financial institutions to gather evidence, follow regulations and make decisions under deadlines. Casap is applying AI agents to those workflows.
What happened
Casap announced a $56 million Series B led by Base10 Partners, with participation from strategic and existing backers including Experian, Synchrony, Emergence Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Total funding is reported at approximately $90 million.
The company initially focused on payment disputes and chargebacks. Its agents help with intake, evidence collection, investigation and communication, with scope for human review and escalation. It is expanding into broader financial-services operational tasks.
Casap reports relationships with more than 100 financial institutions and strong revenue growth since its prior financing. Those figures are company-reported rather than independently audited evidence of performance across every customer.
Why it matters
Dispute processing is costly and time-sensitive. Automation could speed up administration, reduce manual case handling and help teams apply procedures consistently. But decisions that affect customer money, fraud allegations or regulatory rights require reliable evidence and accountability.
Banks will evaluate not only agent speed but also error rates, recoveries, compliance and customer outcomes.
The bigger picture
Vertical AI in finance is moving from assisting employees to completing defined operational work. Casap's funding reflects demand for that shift, while highlighting why careful controls are essential in regulated decision-making.
