What happened

CARPL.ai raised a $10M Series A led by the International Finance Corporation, with Stellaris Venture Partners and other investors participating.

The company's platform allows hospitals and diagnostic centres to assess, deploy and monitor third-party radiology AI applications. Rather than developing one model for one disease, CARPL.ai connects healthcare providers with multiple tools and helps manage how those systems perform in practice.

The funding will support expansion across healthcare markets and further development of the platform.

Why it matters

A medical-imaging model can perform well in a controlled study but behave differently across scanners, patient populations and clinical workflows. Hospitals therefore need more than access to algorithms: they need validation, integration, monitoring and accountability.
