BRINC raised $125 million in financing led by Motorola Solutions, with Index Ventures and Figma founder Dylan Field participating. The round brings the company’s total capital raised to more than $250 million.

BRINC develops drones and communications systems for emergency-response organisations. It plans to use the capital to expand US manufacturing, grow deployments and deepen its product platform.

Public-safety technology is difficult to sell because buyers require reliability, secure communications, regulatory compliance and long procurement cycles.
