Brava Security raises $15m to test security detection
A security dashboard can look healthy while an attack goes unnoticed.

A security dashboard can look healthy while an attack goes unnoticed.
What happened
Brava Security emerged from stealth with $15 million in seed funding led by F2 Venture Capital and Pitango.
The company develops software that models the evidence attacks would leave in a customer's systems, then checks whether detection rules would recognise that evidence. Its reported customer adoption and performance remain company claims.
Why it matters
An AI security analyst depends on the information it receives. Missing logs and detection rules that fail to fire can leave it with no event to investigate, however capable the analyst is.
The bigger picture
That puts attention on validating the foundations beneath automated security operations. Brava's approach will need to show that its generated evidence and tests reflect real customer environments. The funding backs that work; it is not independent proof that the platform can detect every relevant attack.
