Bleu Robotics raises €5 million for industrial humanoid software
Getting humanoids into factories requires software that is practical to train and deploy.

Getting humanoids into factories requires software that is practical to train and deploy.
What happened
Bleu Robotics raised a €5 million pre-seed round, co-led by Contrarian Ventures and OVNI Capital. The Paris-based company develops software intended to teach industrial humanoids new tasks from a small number of operator demonstrations.
Why it matters
Training and integration costs can prevent capable hardware from becoming useful factory equipment. Reducing those costs would make a wider range of manufacturing tasks worth automating.
The bigger picture
Robotics software will be judged on production performance across changing tasks and environments. Demonstrations of fast learning still need to translate into reliable, sustained operation.
