Blackwall raises $100M for AI-era web security
Blackwall has raised a $100 million Series C at a $2.2 billion valuation to expand web-security tools for hosting and cloud providers.

What happened
Blackwall has raised a $100 million Series C at a $2.2 billion valuation. AVP led the round, with Dawn Capital, MMC Ventures and Tera Ventures participating.
Its products help hosting, cloud and managed-service providers distinguish legitimate visitors and AI agents from scraping, botnets and malicious requests.
Why it matters
AI agents are increasing automated traffic and making older bot-detection rules less useful. Websites increasingly need to determine which agents should be allowed, blocked or given limited permissions.
The bigger picture
Identity, authorization and traffic controls for software agents are emerging as a new layer of internet security infrastructure.
