Birdsview raises €2.5M to replace email workflows with an agent
Birdsview is building an AI agent that runs retention-marketing workflows rather than simply giving e-commerce teams another email tool.

AI is beginning to compete not only with software features, but with the operational work people and agencies perform around those tools.
What happened
Leipzig-based Birdsview raised a €2.5M seed round led by Fortino Ventures and Newion.
Its product, Avys, is an AI agent for e-commerce retention marketing. The system analyses product catalogues, decides what message to send each customer and when, and writes communications in the brand’s voice.
The company reports a data layer spanning 1.2M labelled products across 60 industries and processing signals from 52M email interactions per month.
Why it matters
Traditional email platforms give marketers tools. Birdsview is trying to automate the operating work itself.
That changes the competitive set. The company is not only challenging incumbent SaaS products, but also parts of the agency and internal-team workflow built around campaign planning, segmentation and content creation.
The data layer could also matter because stronger product and interaction history can improve recommendations over time.
The bigger picture
Enterprise software is shifting from systems of record toward systems of action.
The next generation of AI products may not simply help users complete tasks faster. They may take ownership of recurring workflows end to end. Birdsview’s round is a good example of that transition in marketing software.
