Biolevate Raises €30M for Pharma AI
Biolevate has raised a €30 million Series A to automate knowledge-heavy pharmaceutical research and regulatory workflows.

Biolevate has raised a large Series A around an overlooked part of pharmaceutical work: the enormous amount of research, documentation and regulatory knowledge that sits around drug development.
What happened
The French startup raised €30 million in Series A funding, with RAISE France and Orange Ventures among the lead investors alongside additional strategic and existing backers.
Biolevate develops AI software for pharmaceutical and life-sciences teams, helping them work through complex scientific information and knowledge-heavy processes.
Rather than focusing only on molecule generation, the company targets workflows such as evidence synthesis, research support and regulatory documentation.
Why it matters
Drug discovery gets most of the attention in life-sciences AI, but the pharmaceutical industry spends enormous amounts of time turning research into decisions, reports and compliant documentation.
Those workflows are difficult to automate with generic assistants because they require domain context, traceability and high accuracy.
That gives specialist software companies an opportunity to build systems around how pharma teams actually work rather than competing directly with frontier models on core scientific discovery.
The bigger picture
AI in life sciences is broadening beyond molecule design. The more durable market may include tools that connect scientific knowledge, internal data and regulated workflows across the entire drug-development process. Biolevate's round suggests investors see operational intelligence inside pharma as a meaningful category in its own right.
