BackingMinds invests in Saidot's AI governance platform
The funding supports US expansion and further development of controls for enterprise agents.

An agent needs an owner, a defined job and a record of what it is allowed to do.
What happened
Saidot announced on 5 November investment from BackingMinds, with existing investors Crowberry Capital and Ventic also participating. The Helsinki-based company did not disclose the amount in the announcement. It plans to strengthen its European presence, expand in the US and develop its policy-as-code capabilities.
Why it matters
Saidot connects records of agents with the models, tools, data and people responsible for them. That could help organisations decide which controls an agent needs and keep evidence of how it is governed.
The bigger picture
The proposed policy-as-code work aims to connect governance decisions with rules enforced during operation. Keeping a record and enforcing a restriction are different jobs. The investment backs efforts to connect them; it does not establish that every planned capability is already available.
