Auriga secures €80 million for a new European cybersecurity fund
The interim close supports pre-seed to Series A investing, with AI security, identity and data protection among the priorities.

AI agents create security questions about identity, permissions and data access. Auriga’s second dedicated cybersecurity fund includes those problems within its early-stage investment remit.
What happened
On 29 October, Auriga Partners announced an €80 million interim close for Auriga Cyber Ventures II. Its final target is €100 million, with a €120 million hard cap.
The fund plans around 30 European investments, from pre-seed to Series A, with initial cheques of €500,000–€5 million. Approximately half its capital is reserved for follow-ons.
Its first four investments span document fraud prevention, automated penetration testing, AI auditing and compliance, and AI-agent security: Finovox, Fleuret, Mankinds and Nextident.
Why it matters
The portfolio illustrates how cybersecurity is extending around AI systems themselves. Buyers need to understand what an agent can access, what it may do and how failures can be detected.
Follow-on reserves also matter because enterprise security products often need time to earn customer trust and expand deployments.
The bigger picture
The fund has secured €80 million so far. Its larger target remains a fundraising goal. The opportunity is to turn new technical security requirements into products customers will consistently budget for.
