ASI raises $325M for critical infrastructure AI
ASI has raised a $325 million Series C at a $3 billion valuation to expand AI systems used across aviation, energy and defence.

What happened
ASI has raised a $325 million Series C at a $3 billion valuation. Spark Capital led the round, with participation from affiliates of Citadel Securities, Meritech Capital, Craft Ventures, Energy Impact Partners and Andreessen Horowitz.
The company develops simulation and monitoring software that helps operators anticipate disruptions across air traffic, power grids, logistics and military operations.
Why it matters
ASI is applying AI to physical systems where reliability and advance planning matter more than generating text. Existing aviation and defence deployments give the company a clearer route to large-scale adoption than many early infrastructure-AI businesses.
The bigger picture
The round reflects growing investment in AI that can model, coordinate and eventually help control real-world infrastructure.
