Artiso Raises €3M for Fashion AI Platform
Barcelona startup Artiso raises more than €3 million to expand an AI platform connecting design, planning and production workflows for fashion brands.

Fashion teams create and manage large volumes of designs, specifications and campaign materials, often across disconnected tools. Artiso is building AI software around the whole workflow.
What happened
Barcelona-based Artiso raised more than €3 million in a pre-seed equity round led by Criteria Venture Tech, with participation from Swanlaab Venture Factory, Bynd Venture Capital and individual investors.
The company was founded by former Mango executives and is developing an AI operating system for fashion businesses. Its platform brings together collection planning, design exploration, technical specifications and marketing content.
Artiso aims to use each brand's historical designs, product data and visual rules to generate work that reflects its specific identity rather than generic AI output. It says the platform can reduce preparation time for some technical packs from hours to minutes, although those productivity results have not been independently established across customers.
Why it matters
Fashion product development involves decisions that extend beyond imagery. Materials, sizes, product specifications, commercial calendars and production constraints must remain consistent across teams.
A system that connects these activities could reduce duplication and make changes easier to track. The challenge is fitting into established product-development tools while producing reliable technical outputs, not just convincing visuals.
Competition may come from both specialist design applications and broader enterprise software providers adding AI capabilities.
The bigger picture
Vertical AI startups increasingly compete by understanding an industry's specific workflows and data. Artiso's opportunity is to automate the operational work between creative design and getting products to market, where software adoption depends on accuracy and integration.
