Armadin Raises $255M for Agent-Swarm Security

Armadin raises a large Series B to build always-on agent swarms that test enterprise systems against AI-native attack patterns.

Armadin Raises $255M for Agent-Swarm Security

Cybersecurity is starting to prepare for attackers that use autonomous agents rather than one-off scripts or manual intrusion chains.

What happened

Armadin raised a $255.5 million Series B at a valuation above $2.5 billion.

The company has now raised more than $445 million. Its platform uses always-on agentic swarms to test enterprise systems, chain vulnerabilities together and reveal how attackers might move through real environments.

The company is led by Kevin Mandia, whose background gives it unusually strong credibility with enterprise and government security buyers.

Why it matters

Traditional penetration testing is periodic and human-led.

Agentic attacks could be continuous, adaptive and much faster. Armadin is trying to give defenders the same kind of autonomous capability by constantly probing systems for weaknesses before adversaries do.

The bigger picture

AI is changing cybersecurity on both sides of the market.

The next generation of security companies may not simply detect threats after they appear. They may simulate attack behaviour continuously, using agent swarms to pressure-test infrastructure before real attackers exploit it.
