Arlequin raises €28M to build AI beyond LLMs
Arlequin AI raised €28 million to scale topological neural networks designed for complex data relationships rather than conventional language generation.

Most AI capital is flowing toward transformers, agents and ever-larger foundation models. Arlequin is betting that some problems need a different architecture entirely.
What happened
Arlequin AI raised €28 million in Series A funding, co-led by Redalpine and OTB Ventures, with participation from Bpifrance’s Defence Innovation Fund, Vsquared Ventures, 10x Founders and Xavier Niel.
Why it matters
Its topological neural-network approach is designed to analyse relationships across complex datasets, with applications spanning fraud, cybersecurity, government and security.
The bigger picture
The AI market may ultimately support multiple architecture families rather than one dominant model type. Specialised systems could win where structured relationships matter more than language generation.
