Ares raises €2.9 million for AI-adoption plans
Creandum and Lakestar backed the platform, which uses employee interviews to identify practical opportunities for enterprise AI.

Many companies want to use AI but lack a clear account of where work breaks down. Ares Intelligence starts by asking the people doing that work.
What happened
On 30 October, Ares announced €2.9 million (£2.48 million) in funding from investors including Creandum and Lakestar, with participation from angels connected to Google DeepMind.
The company uses an AI interviewer to gather employee knowledge and produce a prioritised adoption roadmap. Its aim is to uncover manual workarounds, difficult handovers and other opportunities that a top-down strategy exercise might miss.
Why it matters
Discovering a worthwhile workflow is a different problem from selecting a model. A useful discovery process could help companies direct implementation budgets toward problems with measurable business value.
It also needs employees’ trust. Interview participation and candid responses depend on how information is handled and used.
The bigger picture
The commercial test is whether the resulting recommendations lead to successful deployments and measurable benefits. Funding and an adoption roadmap do not, by themselves, demonstrate realised savings. Ares will need to connect discovery with the outcomes clients obtain.
